How to Get Started

2. Direct sunlight is required for solar panels (PV).

4. This category has limited lighting applications. What “type of lighting” do you want? What is the purpose? Where are you putting the light?
5. Obtaining the “right illuminance, intensity, and efficacy of light” should be understood.
6. The brilliance of light (expressed in lumens), height and distance between lights are the three most important variables. Foot-candle drawings are available for review. Extrapolate to determine illuminance, which is the amount of light that strikes a surface or an area.
7. Select the preferred light(s). Then, chose the style and quality of light (efficacy) that best fits the location.
Before purchasing this unit, consult with a licensed bonded contractor in your area regarding foundation and installation. Special Delivery or Pick-up Option
A charge of $100 shipping and handling for pick up at one of our warehouses is assessed per outdoor pole OR a charge of $300 delivery and handling to a commercial destination is assessed per outdoor pole.
Model Description
Commercial grade. The standard model is designed to operate without direct sunlight for five days, or longer, for an average of 13.5 hours, or longer, based on your location per night.
Mount the battery box on the pole or on flat surface near pole.
The solar charge controller has two main settings: a standard automatic dusk to dawn sensor and a timer.
A visual inspection and light maintenance of the unit is recommended every six months. The battery requires no maintenance.
